We are small and we are new. Karera is currently in preview, which means keepsakes are printed and mailed at no cost while we learn what people actually want from them. Regular pricing begins at public launch, and preview orders are never charged retroactively.

A Karera keepsake is two things that arrive as one. The first is a private digital album — your photos, a short video, and a message you wrote. The second is a printed card carrying a QR code that opens it.

The recipient scans the card with the camera already on their phone, enters the passcode you chose, and the album opens in their browser. There is no app to install and no account to create. That constraint is the whole design: a gift that requires a download is a gift that asks something of the person receiving it.

There are three ways to build one. Solo is made by one person for one recipient. Group collects contributions from up to ten people before it ships. Event Wall is a QR code you display at an event so guests can leave photos and wishes on a shared wall.

Nothing, beyond hosting them for the person you sent them to. Each album is protected by a passcode known only to you and your recipient. Albums are never listed, never indexed by search engines, and never used for anything else. Vendors who sell Karera can see a card's status — activated, shipped — and nothing inside it.

Your album is included for two years from activation, and renewable after that. We'll email you before it expires so you can renew or download everything in it.

Under Canada's PIPEDA you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email us and we will action it. The full detail is in the terms and privacy policy.

Karera is designed to be offered alongside something else. A florist, boutique, or gift shop can add a keepsake to any bouquet or order as a premium upgrade — we supply the cards, the platform, and the support, and the customer builds the album at home on their own phone.
